Slovart

Slovart is a renowned Slovak publishing house with a rich history, which has been active on the market since 1991. Our philosophy is to bring valuable books by leading Slovak and foreign authors. We focus on quality titles, ranging from monographs by prominent authors to modern children's literature. Our goal is not to become the largest publishing house in Slovakia, but to remain a publisher of the best books.

We specialize in importing foreign language books, especially English ones, especially in the field of fine arts, photography, architecture, graphics and interior design. We also offer classic and contemporary fiction, science fiction and fantasy. Our books regularly win prestigious literary awards, such as the Most Beautiful Book of Slovakia, the Anasoft Litera and the Dominik Tatarka Award, and our translators are awarded for artistic and scientific translation.

One of our priorities is the export of Slovak fiction books abroad, where we cooperate with foreign partners and our titles are available via Amazon worldwide. Slovart Publishing House also supports activities to popularise reading, especially among children and young people, and participates in important cultural events such as the Night of Literature and the Night of Museums and Galleries.
