The Luxembourg collection is based on a type of garden chair that was created in Paris in 1923, when visitors enjoyed sitting on these chairs in the gardens of the same name. The timelessness of the design of the furniture from the Luxembourg Gardens appealed to the manufacturer Fermob so much that in 2004 they decided to redesign and expand the collection to include garden benches and tables. The result is the legendary collection, which designer Fréderic Sofia has given the hallmark of originality of form combined with a wide choice of colours, lightness and durability of aluminium. Fermob continues to produce garden furniture for public parks and gardens in Paris.
The comfortable garden bench can seat 3-4 people and can be used either at the dining table or on its own.
